A Camp-chic themed wedding at The Camp in Carmel Valley, CA

Yes, every outdoor enthusiasts’ dream wedding is to a camp themed wedding, but how? What about those guests who aren’t used to weddings outside? What about the guests who aren’t hip to roughing it? Okay, so what if you actually do get them to come, now what activities are they going to do while they’re there for the weekend? Well, my friends, cue The Camp at Carmel Valley . All your problems are solved when planning your camp-themed wedding. The grounds are beautiful and well kept for those who need a more catered outdoor experience. The cabins are spacious and modern for those guests who aren’t ready to rough it. Lastly, this location has plenty of outdoor activities for your guests to enjoy during their stay like archery, guided hikes, yoga, swimming, camp fires, and even tie-dye sessions. I’m not sure what more convincing you need?

Oh yes, you need photos! Duh. Okay, here’s L + B’s wedding day. These are an outdoor couple, if I’ve ever seen one (did I use that phrase correctly?) Let’s just say B proposed to L on a group ski/snowboarding trip in Lake Tahoe, enough said. Quite frankly, their whole wedding day was a direct reflection of who they are as people. I’m more of a visual person, so you can see that once you scroll down to the photos. I guess it’s kind of cliché to say that there was “love in the air” on a wedding day, but I can’t explain it any other way. Their friends were so happy for them. Their family was overly joyed. I could tell that L + B were totally 100% present in the day and with each other. And all the guests really just partied hard till the end of the night. What more could you ask for as a wedding photographer looking for amazing moments?
