Roaring Camp Wedding in Felton, CA with 35mm film

What more is there to say when you have summer and the redwoods? It truly is the perfect combination for outdoors-y vibes. Okay what about when you add an old train that actually takes you through the redwoods? Now that’s called Roaring Camp. Nestled within the Santa Cruz mountains in a small town called Felton, you’ll find an old western town with an actual operating train. Let me be the first to tell you that it is the coolest experience for you, your “soon to be spouse”, and all of your wedding guests.

Another bonus for this venue is that Henry Cowell State Park it literally right next to it. Like walking distance. One of the most beautiful redwood state parks in the Santa Cruz area, is just steps away. So of course, I would totally take advantage of that. Couldn’t you tell from the rest of my work that redwoods is my thing?!

C + D were the most easy going, fun-loving couple on their wedding day. Once you take a look through their photos, its totally obvious. I mean take a look at her dress! It was super unique and I’ve photographed a few weddings in my day. Not to mention, she did an outfit change towards the end of the night! They were in party mode the second I met up with them at the venue and didn’t let up for the rest of the day. They really enjoyed every single millisecond of their wedding day to the fullest.

Anyways, on to the photos!… Oh yeah, stay ‘til the end to catch the film photos I also took.

Here’s are the film photos.
